  4. My nick & my screen name is Missy I was born Laverne. Currently I live in Chi Town and its very cold. However we have a lot of culture and diversity in the city. We also have a lot of afrocentric history in the historic Bronzville section of Chicago.
Umm I read many books a week currently with my commute time being 90 minutes give or take I'm afforded the opportunity to read 2-3 books a week. I love it; when I was able to walk to work I was not so blessed....

I have so many favorite authors to name a few plus I don't want to narrow it down to names. I have read some good books and not so good. Good & bad books don't solely make a favorite author for me, its the grace with which they write, respond to reviews and how they help other up & coming authors. I've written short stories and articles in a couple of magazines. I continue to write even though I keep telling myself there isn't a story in me. But the Holy Spirit says differently.

I hope to accomplish the ability to stomp on my fear of driving and get my license. I'm in my late forties and still unable to drive. I never wanted to in the past, but now I think I should learn. I'm still praying on it and where the Lord leads I will surely go!
The good news is not just my news its for us all. It's simply this

    Isaiah 43; 19

    Msg:
    Forget about what's happened;
don't keep going over old history.
Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new.
It's bursting out! Don't you see it?

    NIV
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
    and streams in the wasteland

  10. Kevin Wayne Johnson here to support this dynamic vision of Ella again this year. As the author of the award winning Give God the Glory! series of books and devotionals, I intend to encourage everyone who reads our books, articles and devotionals to experience the love of God in their lives. During the recent inaugural events of the 44th President of the United States, we just witnessed how God can work in our lives to change the world. No one can convince me that God did not raise up Barack Obama to be used as the change agent at this time in world history. God can do the same in your life - if you let Him!

Quite refreshing, and quite different... still laughing out loud..."…where the Southern man gets his stroll!' Ha!Ha!

Do I read a lot of books? Ever since I was a kid, I've been that guy who brings an empty backpack to the public library, if that tells you anything. Now that I am full-time freelancing, writing fiction, and cartooning, there's not much time left to read for pleasure.

Right now the goal is creating name awareness by doing more radio and print interviews, guest blogging and covering local events. Along with constantly coming out with new product and content, of course.

Like me on Facebook under "Chris DeBrie/WYHP"... everything I'm doing can be found from there, or from my home site, www.meanpimento.com. Take care, but be bold, y'all. Todo o nada.
